	Jānis Ģīlis, MD Jānis Ģīlis, born on the 10^th June 1960 is a member of the Latvian Plastic Surgery Association and a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. He has been practicing in plastic and reconstructive surgery since 1985, and prior to the foundation of his private clinic worked in Latvian Plastic and Reconstructive Microsurgery Center. Jānis Ģīlis has graduated from the Latvian Academy of Medicine specializing in microsurgery. He did research and his dissertation on microsurgical treatment of male infertility was held in 1988. He has improved his qualification and knowledge in different clinics in the USA and Canada. Jānis Ģīlis is a regular participant of International Conferences and workshops on plastic, laser and reconstructive surgery. Jānis Ģīlis works as a lecturer at the Medical Department of Latvia University, and Riga’s School of Cosmetics.
